Singapore corporate tax: 17%.
Cyprus dividend tax: 0%
Cyprus healthcare: 2.65%
Now you keep $21.2K/month.
That’s +$7,500 extra every month.
Invest that difference into the S&P 500.
After 10 years, your portfolio is worth $1.58M.
Cyprus tax on capital gain is 0% so you end up with that amount in your personal pocket.
Now we are only 30 years old (ish) so we keep our investment until we’re 60!
You’re now worth $11.6M more because you moved to a country that treats you better.

It hurts a lot, I complain a lot about it, and tbh I’m not even sure I believe in the future of the country anymore.
But I have everything that makes me happy here: my friends, family, my habits…
And to me it’s worth way more than money

Yes there are places that are cheaper but you need to make sure your tax resident country won’t double tax, liability etc
