How it works
One honest feedback loop
Singers plateau because they can't hear their own pitch objectively. Vocalify closes that gap roughly every ten milliseconds.
1. 01
Pick a drill
A ready-made warm-up, a scale, a siren, an interval — or a melody you wrote yourself. 2. 02Sing it
The target notes scroll past while your mic listens. Your pitch draws on top of them, live. 3. 03Read the colour
Green means locked on, amber means close, red means off. You correct mid-note, not next week. 4. 04Keep the score
Every note is graded in cents and saved. Replay the take, or watch the trend over months.Intonation
Stop guessing whether you're flat
Every target note becomes a lane. Your voice draws a line through it, coloured by how far off you are — so "a bit sharp" turns into "+23 cents on the onset, centred by the hold".

Your material
Practise the song you actually want to sing
Drop notes on a beat grid, set the tempo, pick an instrument, and attach the track. What you draw is what gets scored — so any melody becomes a graded exercise.
Saving your own melodies needs a free account — the built-in drills don't.

Ear training
The ear steers the voice
You can only sing a note you can imagine. Vocalify trains that separately from the singing — recognition first, then singing it back with the target hidden.

Built for a practice habit, not a demo
The parts that matter once you come back a second time.
Warm-up routines that run themselves
Chain drills into a Series and press play once. Lip-roll sirens, humming, then scale and arpeggio ladders — it announces each step, rests between them, and scores the whole session as one run.
Know your range
A guided test finds your comfortable lowest and highest notes, then every drill stays inside them — so you extend the edges instead of straining past them.
Progress you can audit
Accuracy over time, per exercise, per note and per interval. The note heatmap tells you which pitches you consistently miss — that's your next practice plan.
Hear yourself back
Runs are recorded. Play the take against the target lanes at any zoom, balance your voice against the backing, and hear the moment you drifted.
Sync when you want it
Stay anonymous and your practice lives in this browser. Sign in — email code, password or Google — and your history, melodies and recordings follow you to any device. Still free.
Set up once
A short wizard picks your mic, measures your output delay so Bluetooth doesn't wreck the timing, and maps your range. After that you just press start.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Is it really free?
The practice app is: every exercise, the melody editor, your history, your recordings and syncing — no card, and it never expires. Two things cost us server time and sit on Vocalify Pro: splitting a backing track into accompaniment and vocals, and a melody library beyond five. Nothing that is free today moves behind the plan later.
What happens when the free trial ends?
You go back to the free plan. Nothing is charged — the trial takes no card — and nothing you saved is deleted: melodies over the free limit stay and stay editable, stems stay in your melodies. Only starting new splits and saving new melodies past five stop until you get a plan. The trial is seven days, once per account.
What happens when my storage fills up?
Recording keeps working. The oldest takes are deleted to make room for new ones, and the app warns you well before it starts — backing tracks and stems are never removed this way, because your melodies depend on them. The free allowance is 250 MB; Pro raises it to 5 GB.
Does my voice get uploaded anywhere?
Pitch detection runs in your browser and your audio never has to leave the device. Without an account, everything — melodies, sessions and recordings — stays in your browser's storage. Sign in only if you want your practice history synced across devices; recordings sync too, when you opt in.
Do I need an account, or anything installed?
Nothing to install, and no account to start: open the app, allow microphone access, and every built-in drill — warm-ups, scales, sirens, range test, ear training — runs straight away. A free account (email code, password or Google) is needed only to build and save your own melodies, routines and presets, and to sync your history across devices.
Do I need a special microphone?
No. A laptop or phone mic is enough to track pitch accurately. What matters more is a quiet room and, if you're using a backing track, headphones — otherwise the mic hears the track as well as you.
Won't my Bluetooth headphones throw the timing off?
They would, so Vocalify measures the delay during setup (or you can tap it in yourself) and shifts scoring and the playhead by that amount. What you hear and what gets graded stay lined up.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes — the whole app adapts to phone screens on iOS and Android, including the editor's pinch and pan. A desktop browser is still nicer for building melodies.
Can it really help my range and intonation?
Pitch accuracy responds to feedback, and Vocalify's job is to make that feedback immediate and objective. Range drills move your limits a semitone at a time, cents-accurate colour shows you the miss while you can still fix it, and every run is measured — so improvement is something you can check rather than believe.
Can I use my own backing tracks?
Yes. Attach any audio file to a melody and it plays in time with the grid — that part is free. Splitting a reference recording into accompaniment and vocals runs on our servers and comes with Pro; after it finishes you can practise against the accompaniment alone.
Ready to hear yourself honestly?
Open the studio, allow the mic, and sing your first scored note in under a minute.
No install, no card. Sign in only when you want to save your own material.
