When a client asks for a change, GetTheOK creates a new version instead of rewriting the old one. The original request, their response, and the timestamp stay exactly as they were.
A change request stays recorded as a change request even after you’ve handled it. That’s deliberate. Months later you can follow the whole sequence — what you sent, what they said, what changed, and when.
New approvals don’t erase old ones.

Does my client need an account?
No. They open a link, review the request, and respond. Nothing to sign up for.
What can my client do?
Approve it as shown, request a change, or decline — and they can add a message with any of those.
Can I include a price change?
Yes. An approval can show an additional cost, a revised total, a credit, or no price change at all.
What happens if they request a change?
You create a revised approval. The original request and their response stay in the history — nothing gets overwritten.
Is this an e-signature tool?
No. GetTheOK records approval requests and responses. It isn’t a digital-signature or identity-verification service.
Can I download or email a record?
Both. Individual approval records and full job approval histories are available as PDFs — download them, or email them straight to your client. On every plan, including Free.
The job approval history PDF also carries a financial summary section. That section is on Pro.
What happens to my records if I cancel?
They stay. Historical approvals, clients, and jobs are preserved — some paid features stop being available, but your history doesn’t disappear.
