I wonder if less colors in your UI wouldn't be better. I think there are several visual stimulus that can be removed without losing the meaning, like the colors in the bars on the box "why people join", or the colored background for the info and stats messages.

i agree, colored info/stat backgrounds are also somewhat unnecessary. I already have hierarchy through the spacing, text, icons, and etc

Also, I'm curious to know why did you decide to use the strong shadows for the blocks.
