Homo promptus

First AI came for the code, and I said, "Finally."

Then AI came for the emails, and I said, "Honestly, keep them."

Then AI came for the spreadsheets and PowerPoints, and I said, "Take those too."

Then AI came for the writing, the drawing, the music, the videos, the dumb little ideas I used to spend an afternoon making for no reason.

And I said, "Well, that's interesting. I'm not sure I like it."

Eventually I had nothing left to make.

So I asked AI what I should do for fun.

It gave me 10 suggestions.

Then I asked it which one to choose.

Historians would later identify this as the end of Homo sapiens and the beginning of Homo promptus.
